How it all started…
I wanted to start an online business because I wanted to be set free from my all-consuming, soul-sucking 9 to 5 job in corporate finance.
I had a beautiful two-year-old daughter at the time (with another girl on the way), and I felt like I wasn’t able to be the husband and father I wanted to be.
I would leave for work before my family woke up, and get back just in time to eat dinner and read a story with my daughter before bed.
I would be locked in my office cubicle, and get texts of my daughter taking her first steps or sipping on her first smoothie or running around the yard spraying our two crazy dogs with a water hose.
…And for what? A “Stable Job” that barely paid the bills?
I WAS MISSING OUT ON MOMENTS THAT MATTERED MOST.
I GOT A SERIOUS CASE OF F.O.M.O. EVERY SINGLE DAY.
I wanted a life of freedom, so I decided to jump ALL-IN to the wonderful world of online business.
I sacrificed everything to make it work. It was not easy — it’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever done! But, only six months in, I had more than enough income to replace my monthly salary and I was able to leave my corporate job. Just 12 months in, the business passed the half-million dollar mark in sales.
I quickly found out that being an online entrepreneur doesn't equal freedom.
I believed the lie that THE ONLY WAY to grow an online business was by posting three times a day and being a slave to my online business. The hustle of creating an endless amount of new content for social media and working with clients 1:1 completely drained me.
That’s when I transitioned to teaching my expertise through online courses. With courses, I’ve been able to reach more people, make more impact, and increase my income while slowly scaling back on the time I spend working.
The Freedom this business has created has been a dream come true.
Now I’m obsessed with showing entrepreneurs how to break free from the daily grind by creating their very own automated online course businesses. I have had the opportunity to help thousands of students from all around the world create and sell their own online courses.
